Student Worker @ Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen (C2C-program)
At Microsoft Development Center in Copenhagen (MDCC), we develop software for Microsoft Dynamics. Microsoft Dynamics is a family of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions. ERP is the large distributed, scalable, and customizable software solutions used by businesses around the world to optimize their operations. At MDCC we specifically develop Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Dynamics AX. The MDCC campus is located in Vedbæk, a small and scenic town just north of Copenhagen and easily accessible by train or by bus. With around 600 employees, MDCC is one of Microsoft’s largest development centers outside the US – and the largest in Europe. Current Openings
We have Student Worker openings for the following roles. Software Development Engineer (SDE), Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
• SDE – Create the code and put the pieces together. Your main responsibility is to define product features and write the code that turns concepts into new technologies and services. Use your coding skills and knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures to create new features in our product. Most applicants are working towards a degree in Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
• SDET – Test - You will be challenged with the responsibility to “build it to break it”. You will push products to their limit, making sure they perform to customer expectations and conform to the highest quality standards. Use your coding skills and knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures to create software to test other software, test tools, and test Frameworks. Most applicants are working towards a degree in Computer Science, Math, or Physics.
Qualifications
No matter what position you are applying for, we expect that you have a strong technical background and interest and that you are able to work both independently and in teams.
To apply, you must be a student in a bachelor or master program of a technical education and your subject must fall within the categories computer science, software technology or engineering. You do not need any Danish skills but you must have excellent English communications skills – both written and verbal. You should have a blended knowledge of business as well as computer science principals.
Duration
Full time: 12 months
