People in balance
At DONG Energy we think of our employees as resources that we borrow during the day. For this reason, it is important to us that our employees return home feeling at least as good as they did when they left in the morning.
To prevent imbalances and stress we believe it is important to focus on the opposite, i.e. being well-balanced. This is important to us as a company but also to the individual employee.
We put focus on stress and imbalances, among other things through our annual climate surveys, in which we ask our employees how they experience work pressure and stress in their everyday lives. At the same time, we make an effort to inform the individual employees about stress at after- hours meetings and department meetings. This way, we wish to create a common understanding of how to prevent stress and which warning signals to be aware of.
Flexible benefits
In DONG Energy we are striving to offer employment conditions to our employees that support their needs for flexibility and individual requirements.
Once a year we offer a series of flexible benefits to our employees. Benefits that they may combine with their employment for a term of one year at a time. Among the many benefits we offer are; a yearly health check-up, season tickets for public transportation, mobile broadband, news paper and magazine subscriptions. The range of flexible benefits is increased on a regular basis.
The selection of available flexible benefits has the primary goal of supporting DONG Energy's focus on health, environment and acquiring knowledge within the framework of the tax laws. The employees will achieve a financial benefit when choosing one or more of the flexible benefits, as the price of the benefits are deducted from their salary before tax.

A balanced body
A healthy body is essential for maintaining a balanced mind. We believe it is our responsibility to make it easier for our employees to make healthy choices. For this reason, we offer our employees the possibility of eating healthy food and exercising.
We have fitness rooms at the majority of our locations and our employee associations are in charge of various sports activities after hours and during weekends, for instance cycling rides, badminton, football, golf, jogging, handball, sailing, tennis, etc.
Our employee associations also arrange active holidays for our employees. Among other things, we arrange a skiing trip to the Alps, a biking holiday in Spain and active summer vacations at La Santa Sport.
Job satisfaction
At DONG Energy we focus on employee job satisfaction. There are many factors affecting the way people feel joy from their day-to-day work and how it influences their job satisfaction. For this reason, we perform a climate survey every year, asking our employees about their job satisfaction. The results of each year's climate survey help to ensure satisfied employees and good management and identify new focus areas.
