At the moment, Maersk Oil and Gas is in a very positive development focusing on international growth. Consequently, we look for a qualified SAP Business Supporter for our IT department who shall contribute actively to this growth.

The IT department deals with technical systems and Oracle systems. The staff works in teams and motivates each other during daily work. The IT department is a focal contact point wherefore proactive approach would be an advantage. The purpose is to provide SAP support for end users, optimize the business use of SAP, secure the maximal usages of SAP minimizing local application and drive innovation in getting the full potential of SAP. 

You will be responsible for various tasks and assignments such as:

Secure that information describing incidents are of the best quality. This will lead to faster solution and give the best end-user experience.

Maximize the use of SAP by securing that SAP is used and users do not use e.g. Excel for something SAP can handle.

Proactively seek new and improved ways to support our business.

Secure the development and use of global business processes.

Drive the local innovation to the benefit of the global organization.

Assisting in defining Functional Designs for report needs that isn’t covered by SAP ECC or BI.

Making simple adhoc reports in SAP using QuickView or SAP Query. Pickup on adhoc reports that can be used globally and get them documented and aligned with the global team. 

Keep the global focus and act as link between the global organization and the local OU’s.

Register and coordinate Change Requests. Secure that the consequences of the change are documented and that all stake holders agree on the change.

By knowing the local business, this function will insure the best interaction between local systems, procedures and SAP system.

Coordinate Super user activities. E.g. Super User Café.
